ABOUT BEV

Female led walking adventures

shuttlingslow (2).JPG

I am a fully qualified Mountain leader, hold Wilderness first aid qualification and NNAS (National navigation award scheme), I have Public liability insurance for working in the outdoors.

I am also a qualified Duke of Edingburgh assessor and spend time encouraging young people to enjoy the outdoors and make it fun. I am passionate about the outdoors and sharing it with like minded people. All my walks are female led and we spend time talking about the area, the flora and fauna, geology, and local history. Caring for the environment is very key to me and I support Peak District National park – ‘Moors for the future’ in the restoration of Peatland, I was chosen as one of the Peak District National parks 70 People for their 70 year anniversary, #70People70Years - Bev England: Peak District National Park

I was also fortunate to join Claire Balding on BBC Radio 4 Ramblings  walk along with Angie and Linda two friends  we walked Malham Tarn and Gordale scar and had a super day out ‘A stunning walk around Malham Tarn’ Ramblings - A Stunning Hike around Malham Cove - BBC Sounds
